Unbelievable Memorabilia started out simply as a small gallery in Sarasota, Florida on November 24, of 1996 after many years of personal collecting it became apparent that with the amount of pieces I had accumulated, designed and customed framed that I actually found I had enough autographed memorabilia to start a store and do what I love. After three sucessful years in Sarasota, Florida due to the vulnerability of the location on the island of Lido Beach, after a near miss from hurricane Georges it became evident to move inland for a more secure location. Eventually, moving south to Ft. Myers, Florida into the Edison Mall in August of 1999. It grew to offer a more diverse selection of autographs as well as adding original cinema posters, reprint posters and photos, reprints, postcards, as well as display cases, trading cards, and magnets. Three sucessful years later and another tropical storm it became apparent that the vulnerability of a Florida location made the decision to move the retail location an easy one. In 2006 Unbelievable Memorabilia moved to the heart of the United States, The Crown Center Shops in downtown Kansas City, Missouri which is located next to the Hallmark Cards World Headquarters.
